FAQ

What does Bellmont Gallery sell?

Bellmont Gallery sells original vintage posters and collectible poster art. Our collection includes travel, advertising, Art Deco, fashion, sports, transportation, and wartime posters, with a focus on authenticity, visual impact, condition, and decorative appeal.

Are your posters original?

Yes. Bellmont Gallery sells original vintage posters, not modern reproductions. If an item is ever a later printing, reissue, or other special case, this will be clearly stated in the listing.

Does each poster include a Certificate of Authenticity?

Yes. Each poster purchased from Bellmont Gallery includes authenticity documentation for collector confidence. This records key information available to us at the time of sale, such as title, approximate date, dimensions, condition notes, and any known artist, printer, or publisher information.

What condition are the posters in?

Vintage posters are historic objects and may show signs of age, handling, fold lines, restoration, linen backing, or paper variation. We make every effort to describe condition clearly and provide detailed photographs. If you would like further images or clarification before buying, please contact us.

What does “linen-backed” mean?

Linen backing is a conservation process in which a vintage poster is professionally mounted onto archival linen. This can help stabilize the paper, reduce visible fold lines, and make the poster easier to frame and preserve. If a poster is linen-backed, this will usually be noted in the listing.

Are the posters framed?

Unless specifically stated in the listing, posters are sold unframed. We are happy to advise on framing style, conservation framing, and presentation options.

How are posters shipped?

Posters are carefully packaged, tracked, and fully insured. Depending on the item, a poster may be shipped rolled, flat, or in specialist packaging. Linen-backed posters are typically shipped rolled unless otherwise stated.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. Bellmont Gallery can ship to collectors, designers, and private buyers in the United States and internationally. International buyers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, or local charges that may apply in their country.

How long will my order take to ship?

We aim to dispatch orders as promptly as possible after payment has cleared and the poster has been prepared for safe shipment. Because every poster is an individual collectible item, some orders may require additional handling time to ensure appropriate packaging.

Can I request additional photographs before buying?

Yes. If you would like additional photographs, condition clarification, or more information about a poster before purchasing, please contact us and include the poster title or SKU.

Can I return a poster?

Please contact us promptly if you have concerns about your order. Returns may be accepted where the poster is returned in the same condition in which it was received, using appropriate packaging, tracked shipping, and insurance. Please contact Bellmont Gallery before returning any item.

What happens if a poster is damaged in transit?

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible. Keep all packaging materials and provide photographs of the package, the damage, and the poster. This helps us review the issue and support any insurance claim.

Can you help me choose a poster for my home or project?

Yes. Bellmont Gallery works with collectors, designers, and interiors clients. If you are looking for a particular style, period, subject, color palette, or size, please contact us and we will be happy to help.
