An original lithograph by Agnes Martin (1912–2004), titled Everyday Happiness, printed in colour on vellum in 2000.
This work reflects one of Martin’s late minimalist compositions, characterised by softly structured horizontal bands and subtle tonal variation. The gentle rhythm and restrained palette convey a sense of calm and balance central to the artist’s mature practice.
Everyday Happiness is derived from Martin’s 1999 body of work, a period in which she refined her signature format of horizontal bands into some of the most distilled and contemplative compositions of her career.
Agnes Martin is regarded as one of the most important figures in post-war abstraction. Her work is held in the permanent collections of major institutions including the Museum of Modern Art (New York), the Guggenheim Museum, Tate, and the National Gallery of Art.
This print is particularly well suited to minimalist interiors and can be displayed either as a standalone work or as part of a larger wall arrangement.
Excellent overall condition. Sold unframed. Additional photographs available upon request.
